What is a Catalog Island?

A Catalog Island is filled with dropped items that can be cataloged. If you do not know what this means, please watch this video.

The purpose of a Catalog Island is to fill up your Animal Crossing catalog. You access your in-game catalog by going into Resident Services, going to the Nook Stop, and select Nook Shopping. This will show you every item you have ever picked up. Some of these items you can repurchase right then and there with bells. However, items you cannot purchase with bells will also show up here.

The entire catalog island is FILLED with dropped items. In front of each dropped item, is a placed item so you can see the item

When you pick up an item, it automatically goes into your catalog. Then you MUST drop the item in its original spot, so the next visitor can pick up that item and add it to their catalogue. You DO NOT take items from a Catalog Island.

ceo's Catalog Island will be full of sought after items that can be purchased with bells. This includes items you can buy at Nook's Cranny, items you can buy from the Able's Sisters Shop, and more.

Such a glorious island comes with important rules to make sure every visitor has a stress-free and pleasant experience. If you are visiting the 24/7 Treasure Island, 24/7 Catalog Island, Public Treasure Island, or Public Catalog Island, each will have specific rules that will be posted in their appropriate guides. These are the Catalog Island rules:

1. ALWAYS leave through the airport. 

2. Do not use "-" button to leave the island.

3. Do not let your Switch die while on the island.

4. Have your switch plugged in or at least 75% when visiting the island. 

5. Pick up one item at a time.

6. Pick up one item then immediately drop it.

7. Do not try on clothes.

8. Do NOT share dodo code to the catalog island.

9. Do NOT run on the island. This will island to crash.
